Sticks and Stones and Other Water Tales

During the Covid lockdown I spent much time walking around my Duluth, MN neighborhoods and sitting down by Lake Superior walking the waves roll in and exploring the beaches. Finding worn rocks and beach wood of all kinds kindled my imagination and I began to make-up the stories of lives these inanimate objects must have lived. The end product was a series of illustrations and written poems that told these stories. The work was shown in the 2021 Faculty Bienniel Show called We Create.
